Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates
Alongside the more tangible and visible changes during pregnancy and after giving birth, there are a multitude of ongoing alterations that can be challenging both physically and emotionally. Taking a holistic approach, Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates can be a highly beneficial and supportive way to care for the body as it navigates physical and hormonal changes, changing sleep patterns, breastfeeding and baby-carrying to name just a few.
As a qualified pre/postnatal Pilates teacher, I have additional training in Pregnancy Pilates, Postnatal Pilates, and Diastasis Recti. See below for further details on Pregnancy and Postnatal classes.

Pregnancy One-to-Ones
These tailor-made sessions are designed to prepare you for the changes that your body will go through in pregnancy, and equip you with physical knowledge and awareness to exercise safely. With a focus on grounded strength, mobility, safe positioning and postural adaptations, you can use these sessions as a guide for your group classes too. Please check with your GP/midwife first if you are new to Pilates. For multiple sessions discounts apply, just let me know you’re interested in this when you book. Book here
Postnatal One-to-Ones
These one-to-one sessions offer a safe, supportive way back to exercise, with a focus on reconnecting to the body post-birth and gently building confidence to move with ease. Sessions are tailored to individual needs, and babies are welcome! Please ask me about repeat bookings - there is a reduced rate for regular sessions.
Themes include: stabilising the core, using the breath to support mobility, working with posture and alignment of the pelvis and spine, and releasing tension relating to feeding, carrying and recovery. You can book a session once you’ve had your 6-week postnatal check-up, and your GP has confirmed you are safe to exercise. Book here
